Treatments We Offer

Acupunture

The insertion of very fine, single-use, sterile needles into specific points on the body. There are over 300 acupuncture points on the body and a specific point prescription will be used for each patient. The insertion of these needles elicits a therapeutic response within the body to heal physical, mental, and emotional imbalances.

Facial Acupuncture

An ancient, anti-aging technique to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Very fine needles are inserted into points and areas of wrinkling on the face, as well as select body-points, to increase the flow of qi and blood to the face. Facial Acupuncture treatments also include special cupping techniques and facial tui na. A course of facial acupuncture includes 10 treatments. External Herbal Facial products are also available for purchase.

Herbal Medicine

Chinese Herbal Medicine involves creating a customized formula consisting of a combination of plant, mineral, and animal products to meet the therapeutic needs of each patient. Herbal formulas can be consumed via water decoction, similar to a tea, or in pill form. Herbal formulas offer therapeutic benefits between acupuncture treatments.

Eastern Dietary Therapy Nutrition Consultations

Nutrition is a very important element in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Based on the theory of TCM and the patient’s condition and overall health, a individualized nutrition plan will be constructed. Eastern Dietary Therapy differs from Western nutrition because the energetic properties of every food are taken into consideration, as well as the idea that no diet is “one size fits all.”

Well Rounded Care

Acupuncture treatments may include other modalities including cupping, moxibustion, and Tui Na (Asian Body Work). Education on lifestyle changes including Meditation, Qi Gong, and Tai Chi exercises may also be given. After a full intake and assessment, we will determine which modalities you would benefit from to ensure you are receiving the most well rounded and holistic care possible.
